Applications are evaluated on:

Academics

Nature and quality of completed coursework. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 and prerequisite GPA of 3.20.

Personal Statement

Provide your story to distinguish yourself from other applicants. Consider your interest in the profession and experiences that have prepared you for a career in dietetics as well as your goals, strengths, and limitations.

Letters of recommendation

Three letters are required from a combination of collegiate academic mentors and health care or food service experience supervisors.

Standardized exam scores (optional)

Minimum test score at the 25th percentile or higher on each section of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE).

Experience

Nature and quality of work and volunteer experience in the health care or food service setting.

Leadership

Life experiences that support your short- and long-term goals.
